Account Executive – Insurance Broker

About the role

Marsh is looking for an Account Executive to join its Corporate & Commercial team in Cairns. This hybrid position requires at least three days a week in the office and focuses on growing and managing a portfolio of insurance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow personal relationships and a book of business to meet team sales targets.
• Research and analyse client accounts to understand business needs and risk exposure.
• Develop and present insurance solutions in collaboration with placement and advisory teams.
• Identify expansion opportunities and drive renewal/placement strategies.
• Represent Marsh at industry events and conferences to build a professional network.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in an insurance environment.
• Tier 1 or ANZIIF qualification is highly regarded.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of general business functions.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritise work, multitask and meet deadlines consistently.
