Head of Product Management

About the role

As the Head of Trade & Supply Chain Product Development & Change at ANZ, you will steer the execution of the bank’s Trade & Supply Chain product strategy. You will be responsible for translating strategic priorities into disciplined delivery across product development, change implementation and product assurance, ensuring a customer‑focused and commercially sound portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a high‑performing team covering product development, change delivery and product assurance.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, from concept through launch to ongoing governance.
• Drive product enhancements that simplify processes, improve customer experience and support scalable growth.
• Embed robust AML/CTF, sanctions and risk controls throughout the product value chain.
• Partner with product owners, technology, operations, risk and frontline teams to ensure execution excellence and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor product performance, governance and control effectiveness, reporting to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading product management or development functions in a financial services environment.
• Deep understanding of regulatory, financial crime and risk frameworks applicable to trade and supply‑chain products.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams across multiple markets.
• Strong commercial acumen and customer‑centric mindset.
