Customer Service Operator

About the role

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Operator to join its Melbourne office. You will act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and Hellmann’s global network, ensuring smooth handling of import shipments and customer enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Enter shipment data into customer systems for all Hellmann movements and clearance shipments.
• Monitor import shipments from overseas origins to Australian destinations.
• Coordinate with Hellmann New Zealand to ensure process compliance.
• Communicate updates and corrective actions between clients, Australian staff, and overseas offices.
• Maintain rates, quotations, and costings as required by the client.
• Document shipping enquiries, advise customers of changes or delays, and uphold service level agreements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar customer service or logistics role.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and professional presentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Data‑entry competence.
