Flow Controller – Automated Warehouse

About the role

Join a permanent team at one of Australia’s largest automated warehouse projects. You will work on a 4‑on/4‑off rotating shift, supporting a fully automated site that uses cutting‑edge robotics, PLCs and SCADA technology.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily operations of the automated warehouse system and respond to alarms, warnings and blockages.
• Perform low‑risk maintenance such as replacing sensors, filters and consumables.
• Refill and exchange consumables including foil, labels and cartons.
• Clear system blockages to ensure smooth material flow.
• Communicate with internal teams and client personnel to minimise disruptions.
• Guide client staff on correct machine processes and safe equipment operation.

Required profile

• Strong willingness to learn in a high‑technology environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude with problem‑solving ability.
• Physically fit and able to work a rotating shift roster.
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or Australian permanent residency with full work rights.

Required skills

• Familiarity with PLCs.
• Understanding of SCADA systems.
• Basic knowledge of automation and robotics concepts.
• Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
