Guest Service Expert

About the role

Sheraton Port Douglas is looking for a Guest Service Expert to support its Guest Services team with general operational tasks. The role requires knowing the hotel and the surrounding community inside out so that guest expectations are exceeded.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Guest Services team with general operational tasks
• Know the hotel and the surrounding community well to exceed guest expectations
• Assign rooms according to guest requests and preferences whenever possible
• Handle general enquiries and create meaningful, tailored guest experiences
• Assist with verifying and adjusting guest billing, follow up on guest questions and requests, and pay close attention to detail
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests so they return and make future bookings

Required profile

• Experience with the OPERA property management system or a similar system
• Relevant experience in a similar role
• Working rights in Australia
• Enthusiasm to grow their career, self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
