About the role

Join Bailey Nelson as a Christmas Casual Optical Assistant for the busy holiday period in North West Sydney. You will help customers with their eyecare needs and create a memorable store experience.

Key responsibilities

• Guide customers through the eyecare journey, offering styling advice and frame recommendations.
• Assist with optical requirements, ensuring a warm and engaging visit.
• Maintain a dynamic retail floor, supporting store results during peak trading periods.
• Collaborate with fellow assistants, store leaders, and optometrists to keep operations smooth.

Required profile

• Full availability from early November 2026 to late January 2027, including weekends and extra shifts.
• Previous customer‑service experience in retail, hospitality or a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude with strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Reliable team player who builds strong rapport with colleagues and optometrists.
