National Business Manager – Consumer Business Group

About the role

Lead the Consumer Business Group for 3M in Australia, managing key accounts such as Bunnings and TTHG within the hardware channel. Drive sales, margin and growth of flagship brands like Command, Scotch, Post‑it and Scotch‑Brite.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on financial commitments including sales, margin, price and forecast accuracy.
• Develop and execute annual and quarterly customer strategies and joint business plans.
• Lead channel initiatives such as ranging, distribution, promotional planning and e‑commerce programs.
• Manage pricing, rebates, incentive plans and MDF optimization.
• Analyse data to identify growth opportunities and improve channel performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑4 years of proven success in channel or national account management.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with responsibility for net sales.
• Experience working with major retail customers in the hardware sector.
• Tertiary education in Business or a related field is highly preferred.
