About the role

Certinia is looking for a Business Development Representative to support its Field Sales team in Sydney. The role focuses on generating qualified prospects and feeding the sales pipeline for the company’s cloud‑based services platform.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with an assigned Account Executive to fill their pipeline with qualified prospects through active prospecting.
  • Create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory to generate qualified leads.
  • Achieve or exceed the monthly quota of qualified opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Marketing team to execute lead‑generation campaigns.
  • Articulate customer stories and deliver product solution overviews.

Required profile

  • 1‑2 years of sales or sales prospecting experience (inbound or outbound).
  • Self‑motivated, curious, energetic and accountable.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and match them with product solutions.
  • Willingness to learn product knowledge and business acumen for future field‑sales progression.

Required skills

  • Salesforce platform familiarity
