About the role
Join SMEC’s Melbourne Urban Infrastructure team as a Team Administrator. You will provide essential administrative support to engineers and project staff, helping deliver high‑quality infrastructure solutions in a collaborative and flexible environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver high‑quality proposals for the team.
- Prepare, organise, and distribute documents, reports, and presentations.
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support and coordination for the local team.
- Ensure compliance with SMEC policies and procedures across functional and wider company activities.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal contacts and external stakeholders.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an administrative role within a corporate environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent time‑management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational capability.
- Proactive and innovative approach to problem‑solving.
- Ability to build trusted relationships and deliver high‑quality service.
