About the role
This hands‑on receptionist position supports the front‑of‑house of a luxury boutique in Melbourne’s CBD, delivering a warm and professional experience for every client from arrival to collection.
Key responsibilities
- Meet and greet clients, ensuring a polished client experience.
- Manage incoming phone calls and respond to general enquiries.
- Coordinate bookings, appointments and collection schedules.
- Handle payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Maintain the presentation and standards of the reception area.
- Liaise with couriers and assist with invoice reconciliation.
- Support day‑to‑day boutique operations as required.
Required profile
- Previous customer‑service experience in a professional or client‑facing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Polished, professional appearance and high level of manners.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
