About the role

This hands‑on receptionist position supports the front‑of‑house of a luxury boutique in Melbourne’s CBD, delivering a warm and professional experience for every client from arrival to collection.

Key responsibilities

  • Meet and greet clients, ensuring a polished client experience.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and respond to general enquiries.
  • Coordinate bookings, appointments and collection schedules.
  • Handle payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
  • Maintain the presentation and standards of the reception area.
  • Liaise with couriers and assist with invoice reconciliation.
  • Support day‑to‑day boutique operations as required.

Required profile

  • Previous customer‑service experience in a professional or client‑facing environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Polished, professional appearance and high level of manners.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
