Senior Project Manager – Infrastructure & Civil Works

About the role

This senior project manager position is part of a national contractor expanding its presence in Western Australia. The role will initially support bid activities for major infrastructure, defence and civil projects, then transition to leading delivery of secured projects. It offers the chance to shape a growing business and see a direct impact on high‑profile works.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex civil and infrastructure projects, ensuring performance against cost, schedule and quality targets.
• Support work‑winning activities, contribute to bid strategies and develop proposals for Main Roads WA and defence opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
• Develop and mentor high‑performing project teams, fostering capability within the WA operation.
• Contribute to the strategic growth and capability development of the WA construction business.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in civil infrastructure projects, preferably in roads, transport, ports or similar environments.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects through the full lifecycle within reputable contractors.
• Strong leadership presence, able to take accountability and communicate clearly with senior clients and stakeholders.
• Commercially aware, balanced approach to delivery, and motivated by building a growing business.
