Senior Project Engineer – EV Infrastructure (Sydney)

About the role

Join a high‑profile electric‑vehicle transport infrastructure project as a client‑side Senior Project Engineer. You will provide governance, oversight, reporting and contract administration throughout the construction phase, working closely with the civil contractor and the advisory team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor progress against the contractor’s program, contract requirements and delivery milestones.
• Provide governance and oversight of the construction schedule and quality.
• Prepare and deliver regular project reports to senior stakeholders.
• Administer contracts, manage variations and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Support the Head Contractor and advisory team with commercial and delivery discipline.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience as a Project Engineer on complex Australian infrastructure projects.
• Strong civil engineering background; exposure to electrical, transport or EV infrastructure is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated experience providing governance and oversight on contractor programmes.
• Client‑side, consulting or advisory delivery experience preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management, reporting and contract administration capability.
• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Electrical preferred) and relevant professional accreditation (e.g., Engineers Australia) preferred.
• Australian citizenship; Sydney‑based candidates preferred; willingness to complete a National Police Check.
