Architect – Construction Documentation Specialist

About the role

We are partnering with a respected architectural practice to find a technically capable Architect or experienced Graduate. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality construction documentation across transport, hospitality and public sector projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver detailed construction documentation using Revit
• Develop design packages from concept through to delivery
• Produce drawings, schedules and specifications
• Coordinate with external consultants (engineers, services, specialists) and internal stakeholders
• Attend client and consultant meetings, contributing to design and technical discussions
• Review and align consultant documentation with design intent
• Ensure compliance with NCC, Australian Standards and NSW planning requirements
• Assist with planning submissions and authority approvals
• Support contract administration tasks such as RFIs, site queries and documentation updates
• Monitor programme progress and help meet project deadlines

Required profile

• 4–6 years of professional experience within an Australian architectural practice
• Strong Revit capability with a focus on documentation
• Solid understanding of local codes, standards and approval pathways
• Confident communicator with proven coordination experience
• Experience on large‑scale or complex projects is highly regarded
