Senior Project Manager

About the role

Duratec is entering a growth phase in New South Wales and seeks a proven Senior Project Manager to lead multi‑million‑dollar projects across Defence, Energy, Infrastructure and New Construction sectors. You will own delivery of projects up to $50 million, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and client expectations are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee project teams delivering projects up to $50 M.
• Maintain operational excellence in safety, quality, cost planning and scheduling.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Champion Duratec’s safety‑first culture throughout all project phases.
• Manage project reporting, financials and risk controls.
• Mentor Site Managers, Supervisors and Engineers.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction or infrastructure projects valued $20 M–$50 M+.
• Ability to solve complex construction challenges in high‑compliance environments.
• Commercial awareness and strong risk‑management capability.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Self‑management skills with a focus on team efficiency and positive environment.
