Director of PMO, Transformation & Strategic Delivery

About the role

Minor Hotels Australasia is seeking an experienced Director of PMO, Transformation & Strategic Delivery to join its Brisbane City Head Office. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will shape how strategic initiatives, transformation programmes and enterprise‑wide projects are delivered, ensuring measurable and sustainable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the PMO, establishing enterprise‑wide governance, delivery standards and portfolio disciplines.
• Own the strategic project portfolio, ensuring initiatives are prioritised, aligned to business strategy and properly resourced.
• Drive delivery of strategic projects, transformation programmes and enterprise initiatives from initiation through implementation.
• Establish consistent project management frameworks, methodologies, tools and reporting standards across the organisation.
• Chair portfolio governance forums, manage risks, dependencies and resource constraints, and provide clear recommendations to senior leadership.
• Lead cross‑functional operational transformation, process improvement and cost‑efficiency initiatives across the hotel portfolio.
• Oversee business readiness and change governance for major strategic initiatives and system implementations.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading a PMO, strategic delivery or transformation function within a complex organisation.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale projects and cross‑functional transformation programmes from strategy to implementation.
• Strong commercial and strategic acumen with ability to translate organisational priorities into measurable outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to establish project governance frameworks, methodologies and portfolio management disciplines.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, comfortable engaging with executive and senior leadership teams.
• Highly developed analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities with attention to risk and business impact.
