Broker Manager – Portfolio (Business & Private Bank)

About the role

The Broker Manager, Portfolio role sits within the Broker Partnerships Portfolio team of ANZ’s Commercial Broker & Origination division. You will focus on increasing engagement with less‑active brokers, delivering commercial settlements and providing education on ANZ products, policies and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver commercial settlements sourced from accredited brokers.
• Manage a portfolio of less‑active brokers and drive higher engagement through digital channels.
• Execute proactive business‑development activities aligned with a structured calling strategy.
• Increase referral and sales volumes while maintaining compliance with accreditation, commission, onboarding and off‑boarding requirements.
• Promote best‑practice and non‑financial‑risk priorities across broker interactions.
• Educate and up‑skill brokers on ANZ policies and processes.
• Coordinate and host monthly national broker webinars and support statewide broker events.
• Collaborate with senior broker managers to align local broker strategies and ensure consistent stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing broker portfolios and delivering commercial settlements.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills with internal teams, aggregators, bankers and sales leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business development and grow sales volumes.
• Solid understanding of compliance, accreditation and risk‑management processes.
• Customer‑centric mindset with the ability to communicate complex banking products clearly.
