Workshop Boilermaker

About the role

JLE Group, part of Maas Group Holdings, is looking for a skilled Workshop Boilermaker for full-time, workshop-based fabrication and maintenance of equipment used in construction, mining and tunnelling hire. The main focus is making, fitting and repairing enclosures, skids and industrial equipment so that JLE equipment runs at optimum condition.

Key responsibilities

• Make, fit or repair equipment so it is fit for its intended use.
• Ensure all work meets MGH safety and housekeeping requirements and relevant regulations.
• Identify faults, troubleshoot and fix problems, and carry out root cause analysis on failures.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance and repairs.
• Weld, cut, grind, heat treat and stress relieve steels, and install new and fabricated components.
• Take part in daily and weekly team meetings and pre-start meetings.

Required profile

• Certificate III Boilermaker - Fabrication (Australian nationally accredited) or equivalent proven capability.
• Current driver's licence and White Card.
• Safety-conscious attitude, good communication, organisation and time management, and troubleshooting skills.
• Desirable: First Aid, forklift licence and manual handling.
