Workplace Experience Coordinator

About the role

The Workplace Experience Coordinator will be the face of Aurecon’s Canberra office, delivering a welcoming and professional front‑of‑house experience. Based at the Concierge Desk, you will support smooth facilities operations while fostering a people‑focused workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a warm, consistent experience for clients, visitors and staff in the Canberra office.
• Assist the Office Lead with client‑facing activities, internal communications and culture‑building initiatives.
• Plan and execute office events, large meetings, workshops and workplace activations.
• Manage day‑to‑day facilities services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, stationery, PPE, parking, fleet and general office supplies.
• Oversee health, safety and compliance tasks such as Donesafe reporting, workplace inspections, ISO audit support, fire‑warden and first‑aider coordination.
• Serve as the primary contact for workplace services, handling access passes, room support, IT/AV triage, Wi‑Fi, lockers and archiving requests.

Required profile

• Curious, proactive and people‑focused with strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to balance excellent service delivery with practical execution.
• Enjoys problem‑solving, coordinating behind‑the‑scenes activities and using data to improve outcomes.
• Passionate about workplace experience and facilities, eager to develop a broad skill set.
