WordPress WooCommerce Full-Stack Developer

About the role

We are seeking a WordPress WooCommerce Full‑Stack Developer to join our partner’s remote team in Australia. You will design, build, and customise high‑performing eCommerce solutions using modern web technologies, delivering tailored WooCommerce experiences for a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customise and maintain WordPress websites with a focus on WooCommerce functionality.
• Build and maintain front‑end and back‑end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL.
• Integrate WooCommerce with external platforms, third‑party systems and APIs.
• Develop, configure and optimise plugins and custom APIs within the WooCommerce ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, improve site speed, reliability and overall performance.
• Apply SEO and technical best practices to enhance visibility and quality.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders throughout planning, development, testing and delivery phases.
• Provide regular progress updates and work independently to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing WordPress sites, especially WooCommerce‑based solutions.
• Strong full‑stack development skills with front‑end expertise in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Solid back‑end experience with PHP and MySQL.
• Experience customizing WooCommerce themes, plugins and integrations.
• Good understanding of API integrations and connecting eCommerce platforms with external services.
