Wintel Technical Lead (Windows Servers / MECM / SCCM / AD / Entra ID / VMware)

About the role

Green Light Australia is partnering with a leading global company to hire a Wintel Technical Lead. The role involves designing, delivering and managing Windows Server platforms across on‑premises, hybrid and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, delivery and operational management of Windows Server platforms.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentorship to infrastructure engineers.
• Own and maintain core Microsoft services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Administer and optimise Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) for patching, software distribution and compliance.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID services, including hybrid identity integration and Conditional Access.
• Oversee VMware vSphere and Nutanix platforms, handling capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Administer Infoblox DDI solutions for enterprise DNS, DHCP and IP address management.
• Act as senior escalation point for major infrastructure incidents.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering and supporting enterprise Windows infrastructure in large, complex organisations.
• Strong background with Windows Server 2012 R2 to Windows Server 2022.
• Hands‑on experience with MECM/SCCM, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, VMware vSphere and Nutanix environments.
• Ability to mentor teams and influence technical and business stakeholders.
