About the role

HammondCare, an independent Christian charity providing the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme funded by the Australian Government, is looking for a weekend volunteer to bring treats to a residential aged care home in North Turramurra. You will take a trolley of sweets around the cottage and share them with residents, helping to brighten their days and reduce feelings of isolation.

Key responsibilities

Take a trolley of sweets around the cottage during each visit
Share treats with residents to bring smiles, laughter and a little fun
Visit on weekends only, Saturdays from 1:30 pm for about 90 minutes

Required profile

Aged 18 years or over
NDIS Worker Screening Check; if you do not currently hold a valid clearance, HammondCare will arrange and cover the cost as part of onboarding
