Water Infrastructure Engineering Opportunities (Expressions of Interest)

About the role

AECOM is expanding its Water Infrastructure team across Australia following major contract awards. The team works on water and wastewater treatment, dams, major conveyance, and related civil infrastructure projects for a range of public and private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering design and technical leadership on water and wastewater projects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with interstate and international offices, mentoring junior staff and sharing expertise.
• Support sustainable outcomes for clients and communities by applying best‑practice design and construction methods.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary engineering qualification and CPEng registration (highly regarded).
• Demonstrated experience in water and/or wastewater projects within a consulting and design environment.
• Knowledge of Australian codes and standards and ability to lead project or technical teams.

Required skills

• Water infrastructure design (treatment plants, dams, conveyance systems).
• Application of Australian design codes and standards.
• Professional engineering accreditation (CPEng).
