Warranty Data Analyst

About the role

An exciting opportunity to join Toyota's Quality & Service Division as a Warranty Data Analyst on a two‑year fixed‑term contract. The role supports warranty and compliance operations through data analysis, reporting and stakeholder collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse warranty, recall and field‑action data to identify quality concerns and trends.
• Prepare and deliver reports, insights and recommendations for business performance and budgeting.
• Develop and maintain data sources, dashboards and analytical tools to improve reporting capability.
• Identify and drive continuous‑improvement (Kaizen) opportunities using data‑driven insights.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide analytical support for quality and service initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Commerce, Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting and business insights, preferably with warranty administration or product quality.
• Strong problem‑solving, stakeholder engagement and continuous‑improvement capabilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, data modelling, dashboard development).
• Power BI dashboard and report development, including large‑dataset extraction and manipulation.
• Data cleansing, validation, statistical analysis, predictive analytics and data modelling techniques.
