Remediation Specialist – Tester

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Data Analyst/Tester to support remediation initiatives through data analysis, testing, and automation. You will work closely with Business, Risk, and Technology teams to ensure remediation outcomes meet customer, business, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Write and optimise SQL, Hive, and Teradata queries; build PySpark/Python pipelines orchestrated via Oozie.
• Analyse and validate remediation data, identifying data quality issues.
• Design, build and maintain automated UI test scripts (e.g., Selenium) for regression and release testing.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, impact assessments and prepare reports with insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, validate outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement of remediation and testing practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data analysis and testing of large datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience in financial services, risk, compliance or audit is highly regarded.
