Warehouse Operator

About the role

Join Miss Amara’s fast‑growing e‑commerce team as a Warehouse Operator in Sydney. You will be at the centre of order fulfilment, ensuring every rug reaches the customer safely and on time while supporting a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and store incoming stock safely.
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders with accuracy.
• Process returns and repack resaleable items.
• Operate forklifts, stock pickers and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain a tidy, organised warehouse environment.
• Conduct regular stock counts and update inventory records.
• Report discrepancies, suggest workflow improvements and champion safety.

Required profile

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience (e‑commerce background a plus).
• Current forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and reliable attendance.
• Clear communication, teamwork orientation and a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely with provided equipment.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (licence).
• Proficiency with Gmail.
• Experience using Cin7 inventory software.
• Familiarity with Shippit shipping platform.
• Competence in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• Basic use of Slack for team communication.
