Warehouse & Distribution Operations Operator

About the role

Alcon is seeking a motivated Warehouse & Distribution Operations Operator to support inventory and material handling in its Mulgrave facility. You will ensure accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of products while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, unload incoming shipments and put away stock in designated locations.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch, including stock replenishment and inventory transfers.
• Load and unload vehicles safely, operate forklifts, pallet jacks and reach trucks where licensed.
• Conduct cycle counts, assist with stock takes and report any discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization according to 5S standards and ensure proper labeling.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of warehouse or distribution centre experience.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with strong work ethic and reliability.
• Commitment to safety, quality and compliance with GMP/GxP procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift materials within safe handling limits.

Required skills

• Forklift licence or ability to operate forklift, pallet jack and reach truck.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.
