Warehouse, Dispatch & Delivery Operator

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, motivated individual to join River City Fasteners as a Warehouse, Dispatch & Delivery Operator. The role blends warehouse operations, order picking and packing, dispatch processing and customer deliveries, offering a varied hands‑on environment.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, check and put away incoming stock.
• Prepare orders for dispatch and load/unload delivery vehicles safely.
• Deliver customer orders in a professional, timely manner and complete related paperwork.
• Assist with stock control, stocktakes and inventory management.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Support the wider team with general day‑to‑day duties as required.

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and strong work ethic.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in work.
• Organised and able to manage tasks efficiently.
• Physically fit for manual handling.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Current Australian manual driver licence with a safe driving record.
• Previous experience in warehousing, pick‑packing, dispatch or delivery.

Required skills

• Australian manual driver licence.
• Experience with Fishbowl Inventory system (highly regarded).
• Forklift licence or proven forklift operation experience.
