About the role
Griffith University Health & Medical Service is seeking a Vocationally Registered General Practitioner to join its campus clinic as an Independent Practitioner. The role provides comprehensive primary health care to students, staff and the wider community in a collaborative, university environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver primary health care, including general practice, sexual health, mental health and immunisations.
- Work alongside experienced administration staff, clinical nurses, mental health nurses, visiting psychologists and a psychiatrist.
- Operate within a mixed‑billing (mostly bulk‑billing) and fully computerised practice.
Required profile
- Current full registration with AHPRA and eligibility for Medicare provider registration.
- Professional indemnity insurance, ABN and Vocationally Registered GP status.
Required skills
- Experience with mixed billing (predominantly bulk‑billing) practice models.
- Proficiency in using a computerised practice management system.
