VP Project Finance – Infrastructure & Energy Transition

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing infrastructure platform operating in Australia with offices in Sydney and Melbourne. As Vice President of Project Finance you will lead financing strategy and execution for a portfolio of major infrastructure, energy and digital projects across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop financial models and assess project bankability and returns.
• Structure debt and equity solutions for complex infrastructure projects.
• Lead debt‑raising and financing processes through to financial close.
• Collaborate with investment, development, commercial and technical teams.
• Manage relationships with banks, institutional lenders, advisers and capital providers.
• Support new investment opportunities, M&A, and due‑diligence activities.
• Provide commercial input on capital structures, project risk and value‑creation initiatives.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in project finance, preferably in infrastructure, energy or digital sectors.
• Proven track record of leading financing processes and debt‑raising transactions to financial close.
• Strong financial modelling, commercial analysis and capital‑structuring capabilities.
• Background in infrastructure investment, development, project‑finance advisory or a related environment.
• Ability to work effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
