Senior Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

PKF Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Tax Manager to work closely with the Partner of the Corporate and International Tax team. This senior position offers a direct pathway to partnership and involves leading complex client matters, mentoring staff, and contributing to the growth of the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on optimal tax positions for complex transactions, restructures and business initiatives.
• Provide high‑quality written and verbal advice on corporate and international tax matters, including indirect tax.
• Determine and review tax obligations across companies, trusts and partnership structures.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and develop practical strategies to meet commercial objectives.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Partner on business development and strategic direction of the division.
• Lead, mentor and coach team members, reviewing their work and supporting career progression.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• CA or CPA qualification.
• 8+ years of corporate tax experience, preferably in public practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax compliance and advisory.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams.
• Commercial mindset with interest in business development.
