About the role

The Cerebral Palsy Alliance runs a specialised dental clinic for children and adults with cerebral palsy and related disabilities. Volunteers provide professional dental care in a supportive environment, helping clients who find standard dental visits challenging.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver dental examinations, treatments and preventive care to clients with cerebral palsy and similar conditions.
• Complete all required documentation, reports and clinical records for each appointment.
• Collaborate with the Dental Clinic Manager to schedule flexible half‑day morning sessions.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a dental practitioner.
• Minimum 12 months experience working in a dental clinic.
• Excellent chairside manner and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work with people with disabilities (desirable).
