Student Placement – 2026 Expressions of Interest

About the role

Cerebral Palsy Alliance invites secondary school, TAFE and university students to apply for 2026 placements across our allied health therapy teams, lifestyle services and corporate functions. This is a chance to gain real‑world experience while contributing to the wellbeing of children and adults with cerebral palsy and related conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist allied health therapists in delivering evidence‑based programs to clients.
• Support lifestyle, sports and accommodation services for participants.
• Participate in corporate service projects as part of multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Age 16 years or older.
• Hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening, Working with Children Check (NSW) and Working with Vulnerable People (ACT) clearance.
• Willingness to disclose any pre‑existing injuries or illnesses that may affect role performance.

Required skills

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic understanding of clinical governance and mentoring processes.
