Vehicle Service Technician – Working Holiday Visa in Melbourne

About the role

Join Tesla's fast‑growing Australian service team as a Vehicle Service Technician. This 6‑month full‑time position is open to candidates on a Working Holiday Visa and offers the chance to work with Model S, Model X, Model 3 and Model Y vehicles while gaining world‑class training.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality service and repair for Tesla vehicles, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, HVAC, hydraulic and brake issues using Tesla’s service procedures.
• Utilise diagnostic scan tools and oscilloscopes to troubleshoot electronic modules.
• Maintain accurate service records and adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the service team to continuously improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Qualified/Certified Motor Mechanic or Registered Vehicle Technician.
• 2–3 years of experience as a motor mechanic or technician (Hybrid or EV experience preferred).
• Strong verbal communication in English.
• Passion for the Tesla brand and its mission.
