Travel Consultant – Cruise Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Travel Consultant to join our Cruiseabout store in Mermaid Waters. You will help customers turn their cruise dreams into reality, providing expert advice and personalized service across walk‑in, phone and email channels.

Key responsibilities

• Quote, book and invoice cruise packages with accuracy.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Provide outstanding customer service and handle enquiries via walk‑in, email and phone.
• Upsell and cross‑sell additional products to maximise revenue.
• Monitor and respond to relevant mailboxes daily.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge to recommend the best cruise options.

Required profile

• Proven customer service experience with a focus on sales.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Motivated, organised and eager to exceed expectations.

Required skills

• Experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) – preferred.
