Trade Counter Assistant - Irrigation & Pools (Caulfield)

About the role

Reece is hiring a Retail Assistant (called a Trade Counter Assistant at Reece) for its Caulfield branch, which sells irrigation and pool products. You will help landscapers, irrigation specialists and other tradespeople get the products they need for outdoor spaces, while keeping the branch running smoothly. The role offers the chance to move into a leadership position with accelerated training, including shadowing senior leaders at metro sites and training on Reece-specific systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service and product information
• Provide quotes in person and by phone
• Pick and pack orders and carry out stock control
• Keep the branch tidy and safe
• Take part in on-the-job training and upskilling

Required profile

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience, enjoying helping customers face to face and by phone
• Able to pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and give accurate information
• Comfortable using a computer and willing to learn new systems
• Interested in developing a career locally or within the wider network
