About the role

Reece HVAC-R in St Leonards is hiring a Trade Counter Assistant to join its Branch Staff team. You will help tradespeople and contractors access the products they need for their projects, and carry out other tasks that keep customers happy and the branch running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service and give information about products
• Provide quotes in person and by phone
• Carry out pick-and-pack and stock control activities
• Maintain a safe, organised and welcoming branch environment
• Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
• Continue upskilling through tailored on-the-job training

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail sales or leadership, enjoying helping customers in person and by phone
• Leadership potential and a growth mindset
• Clean, valid driver's licence; a forklift licence is beneficial but not essential
• Wants to develop their career locally or within the broader network

Required skills

• Comfortable using a computer and willing to learn new systems
• Ability to provide quotes and customer service by phone
