Trade Counter Assistant - HVAC-R St Leonards

About the role

Reece HVAC-R in St Leonards is hiring a Trade Counter Assistant to join its Branch Staff team. You will help tradespeople and contractors access the products they need for their projects, and carry out other tasks that keep customers happy and the branch running smoothly. The role sits within a talent hub designed to fast-track development and build the skills needed for future leadership positions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service and give customers information about products
• Provide quotes in person and over the phone
• Carry out pick-and-pack and stock control activities
• Maintain a safe, organised and welcoming branch environment
• Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
• Take part in on-the-job training and develop operational and commercial skills

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail sales or leadership, enjoying helping customers in person and over the phone
• Clean, valid driver's licence and willingness to work various shifts, including weekends
• Leadership potential and a growth mindset, wanting to develop their career locally or within the wider network

Required skills

• Ability to use a computer and willingness to learn new systems
