Territory Manager, Transcatheter Heart Valves (NSW)

About the role

Edwards is looking for a Territory Manager to join its NSW team, based in Sydney and covering Sydney South and Southern NSW. The role drives sales growth and expands market share in the Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) business unit, which partners with cardiologists and clinical teams on TAVR devices. It combines account management, new business development and clinical expertise in structural heart therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for the assigned territory and/or customer base, drawing on knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to Edwards products
• Build and manage long-lasting relationships with customers and other influencers in the region, using influencing skills on buying decisions with tact and diplomacy
• Develop and close new business with existing customers, identify areas for improvement and execute a short-term region plan to meet sales targets
• Other incidental duties

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3+ years of progressive sales experience
• Proven success in driving sales
• Ideally cardiology and/or cath lab experience

Preferred profile

• Good knowledge of the strengths and limitations of own and competitor products
• Understanding of the BU strategy, selling model, medical device industry and the region's selling environment
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, strict attention to detail
• Ability to explain product features compared with competitors and build productive internal and external relationships
