Territory Manager – Neurosurgery (Contract)

About the role

Medtronic is seeking an experienced Territory Manager to join its Neurosurgery and Enabling Technologies team in Sydney on a 13‑month parental‑leave contract. You will represent a market‑leading portfolio that includes imaging, navigation, robotics, hydrocephalus therapy and cranial critical care solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve or exceed sales targets while upholding Medtronic’s professional image.
• Provide regular, concise reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Support theatre cases and deliver training and education to clinical end users and hospital staff on product updates, trials and in‑services.
• Gather market intelligence through observation, discussion and research.
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with key customers and opinion leaders.
• Maintain the highest level of product and technical knowledge and stay aware of competitive offerings.
• Continuously improve territory management and selling skills, working both independently and as part of the wider team.

Required profile

• Minimum high school certificate (Year 12).
• Proven success in a territory‑based medical device sales role.
• Experience supporting clinical procedures in the operating theatre and delivering technical product expertise.
• Willingness to travel as required to meet customer needs, attend conferences and business meetings.

Required skills

• Strong product and technical knowledge of Medtronic’s neurosurgery solutions.
• Ability to analyse competitive product features and strengths.
