Technology Applications Specialist (Radiology)

About the role

Integral Diagnostics (IDX) is seeking an experienced Technology Applications Specialist to join its team and provide specialist expertise across its clinical applications environment. Reporting to the Technology Applications Operations Manager, the role covers the administration, configuration, testing and ongoing support of radiology applications, working with radiologists, application vendors, IT teams and other stakeholders. It is a fast-paced, hands-on remote role.

Key responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to identify, analyse and implement opportunities for improvement
• Provide clinical applications expertise, configuration, testing and ongoing support
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical, workflow and application issues
• Assist with radiologist onboarding, training sessions and demos for staff
• Respond to incidents and service requests recorded in the IT Service Management (ITSM) platform
• Monitor application performance and help maintain reliable clinical workflows
• Liaise with application vendors and work with internal IT teams, radiologists and operational stakeholders
• Maintain, test and validate radiology applications, and create user guides and multimedia resources

Required profile

• Demonstrated radiology applications experience and knowledge
• Previous experience in a radiology environment, private or public sector
• Understanding of radiology workflows and the interaction between RIS, PACS and HL7
• Experience supporting, maintaining, monitoring, testing and validating clinical or radiology applications
• Customer relationship management, project management and/or quality assurance experience
• Proven high-quality support to end users across an organisation
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, vendors and clinical teams

Required skills

• Strong understanding of radiology workflows (RIS, PACS, HL7)
• Experience with Microsoft technologies and products
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
