Technology & AI Enabled Delivery Director

About the role

Orchard Marketing is seeking a senior technical leader to own the quality, direction and capability of its development function across Australia, the Philippines, Colombia and the US. Reporting to the COO, you will shape the technical roadmap and drive AI‑augmented, headless delivery practices.

Key responsibilities

• Define and present Orchard’s technical strategy to senior leadership and clients, championing headless architecture and AI‑enabled delivery.
• Lead the Backend, Frontend and QA teams across multiple locations, setting performance expectations and driving capability uplift.
• Partner with account and strategy leads to influence new‑business pitches, solution design and client growth.
• Establish technical standards, QA criteria and risk‑mitigation processes to ensure delivery quality, velocity and predictability.

Required profile

• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary development teams (Backend, Frontend, QA).
• Deep experience with modern web architectures, especially headless/composable approaches.
• Strong client‑facing skills, comfortable presenting technical solutions in pitches and senior stakeholder meetings.
• Commercial awareness of how technical decisions impact business outcomes.
