About the role
As a Core Java Developer reporting to the Sr. Director – Software Engineering, you will develop and implement software solutions for Nasdaq's Eqlipse trading platform, supporting clients across APAC and collaborating with global teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions for the Eqlipse trading platform.
- Support existing APAC clients, ensuring reliability, performance, and quality.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Sydney and Nasdaq's global teams to align objectives.
- Maintain and improve code quality, structure, and engineering standards.
- Participate in cross‑timezone coordination and occasional flexible hours.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience in software engineering using Java, Maven, and Git.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
- Business‑level English proficiency, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate across global time zones.
