AVP - Program Manager

About the role

The AVP - Program Manager will report to the VP – Program Manager and lead the delivery of complex technology solutions for global market infrastructure operators. This senior position requires strategic oversight, executive client engagement, and cross‑functional team leadership within Nasdaq’s Client Success organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead end‑to‑end program strategy for large‑scale technology implementations, aligning with Nasdaq’s global objectives.
• Represent Nasdaq with senior external stakeholders, clients, and internal leadership through governance and steering committees.
• Drive financial accountability via budget creation, tracking, risk management and mitigation planning.
• Champion quality assurance and progress reporting across all program lifecycle phases.
• Mentor and support Project Managers, building capability and a high‑performance delivery culture.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in technology project and program management within financial markets or comparable global industry.
• Proven success leading large‑scale, complex delivery programs across international, cross‑functional environments.
• Strong executive presence with ability to engage senior clients, suppliers and internal leaders.
• Deep understanding of financial technology infrastructure and the full software development lifecycle.

Required skills

• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including Scrum Master practice.
• Background as a developer, Business Analyst or Solution Architect.
