Java Developer

About the role

As a Java Developer reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, you will own end‑to‑end technical challenges, from gathering requirements to delivering production‑ready solutions. You will work across backend systems, security, and cross‑platform development, contributing to new builds and enhancing existing products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy software solutions that meet product and client requirements.
• Build and maintain security‑focused applications, extending and improving existing systems for performance and new environments.
• Ensure cross‑platform compatibility and monitor system performance post‑deployment.
• Contribute to architecture, database design and technical direction as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Java development with strong understanding of software design principles, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including design, analysis and querying.
• Proven experience with continuous integration and deployment practices.
