Technician – On-site & Workshop Support

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Technician to support the Lead Technician in delivering on‑site and workshop projects. The role involves assisting the team, maintaining records and ensuring a clean work environment while promoting Furmanite’s services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Technician with on‑site and workshop scopes of work.
• Provide support to the Base Supervisor for daily job allocation when required.
• Help fellow employees and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Maintain a daily diary and keep the work area tidy.
• Promote and market Furmanite services, products and business solutions.
• Comply with the Quality System (AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000) and company policies.

Required profile

• Trade certificate (Fitter & Turner, Fitter Machinist or equivalent) preferred.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and Construction Card.
• Willingness to work on‑shore, off‑shore and remote sites, including shift work.
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.
