Technical Support Engineer

About the role

Join the Options Technical Support Team in Sydney to provide on‑site support for our options trading technology infrastructure. You will work closely with the client’s technology team and Options professionals to ensure smooth operation of critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for the client, delivering on‑site support for all Options technology systems.
• Monitor system health, perform maintenance, software updates and configuration changes.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
• Respond to incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Collaborate with Options Technology teams on enhancements, upgrades, testing and validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1‑2 years of on‑site technical support experience in financial services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Client‑focused mindset with the ability to anticipate needs.
• Adaptable to a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
