Technical Architect / Designer – Class 2 Multi‑Residential Projects

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically focused architect or designer to join a collaborative studio that delivers award‑calibre Class 2 residential projects across Sydney. You will be involved from concept through to construction and handover, solving technical challenges and producing high‑quality documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed construction documentation for Class 2 multi‑residential projects.
• Develop technical design solutions that align with design intent and construction requirements.
• Prepare architectural drawings and construction details.
• Coordinate documentation with consultants and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards and relevant planning requirements.
• Support delivery and construction phases, responding to RFIs and site queries.
• Contribute to maintaining high documentation standards across the practice.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Architecture or a related design discipline.
• Proven experience delivering Class 2 multi‑residential projects in Australia.
• Strong technical design and construction documentation skills.
• Excellent understanding of construction detailing, building systems and materials.
• Sound knowledge of the National Construction Code and Australian Standards.
• Proficiency in either ArchiCAD or Revit.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with consultants and project teams.
• High level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail.
