Undergraduate Engineer – Urban Infrastructure

About the role

SMEC is looking for an enthusiastic Undergraduate Engineer to join its Urban Infrastructure team in Parramatta. You will support design, modelling and analysis activities while gaining exposure to site work and multidisciplinary project delivery. This placement offers a solid foundation for a future graduate role.

Key responsibilities

• Support engineering design, modelling and analysis.
• Assist with technical reports and project documentation.
• Contribute to project delivery across multidisciplinary teams.
• Gain exposure to site work and field activities where relevant.

Required profile

• Third or penultimate year of study in a civil engineering degree.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to effectively manage time and workload.
• Developed knowledge of analytical methods, tools, and principles.
