Team Manager – Proactive Services

About the role

Join Woolworths' Proactive Services team as a hands‑on Team Manager. You will oversee cleaning, trolley collection and waste support across multiple stores, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team responsible for cleaning, trolley collection and waste management.
• Create and manage rosters to cover all daily operational tasks.
• Collaborate with Store Leadership to identify challenges, opportunities and priorities.
• Handle time‑and‑attendance activities, track hours, manage absences and ensure policy compliance.
• Order and control consumables such as cleaning supplies within budget.
• Perform core operational tasks alongside the team, including cleaning, trolley collection and waste handling.

Required profile

• Ambitious mindset with a passion for retail and people development.
• Physical fitness for demanding tasks and ability to work in various store areas (shop floor, fridges, freezers, carparks).
• Organised and able to ensure team has necessary equipment and supplies.
• Comfortable working within regulated frameworks (Food Safety, industrial regulations, code of conduct).
• Valid full Australian driver’s licence (Green P’s or full licence) for trolley collection vehicles.
