Team Manager – Injury Management & Return to Work

About the role

Acumen Health, part of the APM Group, is seeking an experienced occupational rehabilitation professional to lead a multidisciplinary team of Rehabilitation Consultants in Western Australia. You will manage your own client portfolio while mentoring and developing your team to deliver strong return‑to‑work outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of allied health professionals.
• Drive quality, compliance and service excellence across the team.
• Support consultants through coaching, case discussions and professional development.
• Maintain a small, manageable caseload of rehabilitation cases.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, insurers, employers and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to business growth and regional success initiatives.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
• Current professional registration or membership with AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC or RCAA.
• Experience in occupational rehabilitation, injury management or workers compensation.
• Strong understanding of the WorkCover WA scheme.
• Proven ability to mentor, coach or lead others, or a strong desire to step into a leadership role.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills.
